Seminars of the Texas A&M Institute for Data Science (TAMIDS) are held on Mondays 2-3pm in Blocker 220 (ie they overlap with class time this semester).
Seminars of the Center for Approximation and Mathematical Data Analytics (CAMDA) are held on Wednesdays from 11:30am to 12:30pm in Blocker 220.
The TAMU Datathon is an annual event which is meant to teach working with data and provide hands-on experience. This semester, it is held on October 8 and 9.
The Conference on Advances in Data Science: Theory, Methods and Computation is held on October 21 and 22 in College Station.
The TAMIDS seminar on October 24 is highly relevant to the class. Class time will be shortened to 3:05 - 3:35.
The annual TAMIDS SciML lab workshop is held on November 8th.
