I am currently a postdoc in the Program in Applied and Computational Mathematics at Princeton University where I work with Weinan E on the mathematics of artificial neural networks. My research interests lie in applied analysis, in particular machine learning, partial differential equations and the calculus of variations.

Previously, I was a postdoc in the Center for Nonlinear Analysis at Carnegie Mellon University advised by Irene Fonseca and Giovanni Leoni. I obtained my PhD from Durham University under the supervision of Patrick Dondl and my master's degree at the University of Heidelberg where I wrote my dissertation with Claus Gerhardt.
